Eid Mubarak
RHAND Credit Union Cooperative Society Limited would like to wish the Muslim community of Trinidad and Tobago Eid Mubarak as they celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr. Every year Muslims around the world fast for a period of one month called Ramadan in the Islamic calendar. Eid–ul-Fitr is celebrated after the sighting of the new crescent moon which signals the end of the month of Ramadan. Muslims begin the day with prayer as they give thanks to Allah for the blessings they have received and for a successful period of fasting.
Muslims gather at their community mosques for the Morning Prayer At the end of which friends and family members visit one another and exchange gifts and greetings. The day is one of feasting as well as family activities. Eastern dishes and delicacies are prepared for guests as well as the poor and needy in the community.
