RHAND Credit Union successfully hosted for the seventh year its July-August Internship Programme from July 01 to August 30, 2010.
The programme exposed fourteen students to the operations of a Credit Union in the functional areas of: Credit Administration, Finance and Accounts, Marketing and Member Relations, Administration, Human Resource Management and Information and Communications Technology.
The aim of the programme is two-fold: Firstly, in the vein of our tenet of “People Helping People” we see part of our corporate role and responsibility as the nurturing of our youth and their effective “tooling” for corporate Trinidad and Tobago.
Secondly, we are planting the seed of the Credit Union philosophy which will equip these young people to make informed
financial decisions today and in the future.
We thank all our interns for 2010 and trust that you will build on the foundation that you have laid here at RHAND Credit Union. May you be successful in all your endeavours outside our doors and know that these same doors are always open to help you.
