RHAND on D’ Road Diego Martin
Thank you, Diego Martin!!! RHAND Credit Union would like to thank our members and prospective members of West Trinidad and environs for taking part at our eventful RHAND on D’ road meeting. The meeting was held at the Diego Martin Community Centre, on September 3rd, 2011. The event was chaired by our Vice President and Chairman of the Education Committee, Mr. Trevor Percival, and the much-awaited feature address was delivered by RHAND’s President Mr. Martin Minguell.
The programme consisted of several other presenters who educated the public about the various benefits of RHAND, “the model credit union” and different perspectives with regards to everyday life and well being. The presenters representing RHAND were: Mrs. Teneshia Edwards-Ross –Clerk, in the Finance and Planning Department and Ms. Jane Stewart – Senior ICT Administrator. The specially invited speakers were: Mr. Yvan Mendoza – Marketing Officer of LinCU Limited; Ms. Genevieve Browne – CUNA Caribbean Representative; and Mr. Geoffrey Frankson, Medical Doctor and owner of the Wellness Centre. All delivered some interesting and thought provoking contributions which prompted questions before the question and answer forum had officially begun.
Members were asked to draw for the door prize as is customary for all our RHAND ON D’ Road events. The winners of the prizes were: Hilary Harris and Deborah Haynes-Collins, both members of the credit union. RHAND would once again like to thank the community of Diego Martin for their hospitality and for all those who contributed to making this a special event. We look forward to seeing you at our next RHAND ON D’ Road!!!
