RHAND on D’Road Port of Spain
The first RHAND on D’ Road for 2012 targeted members residing in Port of Spain and its Environs.The venue located at RHAND’s Head Quarters 57-61 Abercromby Street, Port of Spain deemed most suitable for this event. The programme began at 2:30pm with Mr. Trevor Percival – the Vice President and Education Committee Chairmanserving as the Chairman of the afternoon’s proceedings. Mr. Martin Minguell – Presidentattended and delivered the President’s Address.
The programme progressed smoothly with some interesting and thought provoking contributions which prompted many questions from the audience even before the question and answer forum. The presenters included Mr. Keyon Hamlet a Customer Service Representative of the Marketing and Member Relations Department who touched on a wide range of financial and non-financial products and services offered by the Credit Union and Mr. Everton Sandy who gave an excellent presentation on Crime Prevention in Trinidad and Tobago.
Mr. Keyon Hamlet (photo- above left) discussed many of RHAND’s products and services which included RHAND loans which for example can be used to facilitate educational dreams; he also touched on retirement planning while highlighting the benefits of having RHAND as their Credit Union.
Mr. Everton Sandy (photo- above right) updated all in attendance on Crime Prevention in Trinidad and Tobago and its many uses which would ensure their safety as he gave useful advice and tips in how members could secure their homes and families.
Once the formal part of the proceedings was completed, members were invited from the audience to draw for door prizes as this is customary. The programme ended with the service of light refreshments, tea, and juice at 5:00 pm.
