General
Who can attend the AGM?
All members are eligible to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Where will the AGM be held?
This year’s AGM takes on a hybrid format, offering both virtually and in-person attendance. Members wishing to participate must register to attend no later than Tuesday 11th April, 2023 by 4 p.m.
- Virtually: Secure Zoom Meeting link platform.
- Trinidad: Festival Ballroom, Radisson Hotel, Wrightson Rd, POS, Trinidad
- Tobago: 2nd Floor Meeting Room, Shaw Park Cultural Complex, Shaw Park, Tobago
*Members wishing to attend in-person should note that there is a seating capacity of 300 at the Trinidad site and 150 at the Tobago site. Registration for in-person attendance will close once the capacity is met.
What is needed to attend the AGM?
To successfully attend the AGM, members will need the following:
Virtual:
- stable access to the internet
- an internet enabled device (smartphone, tablet, desktop, or laptop) with working speakers and a microphone (camera optional)
- an active email address
- a quiet place from which to log in
In-person:
- 1 valid form of Identification (DP, ID, PP)
How long will the meeting last?
The AGM is scheduled to run for between 2 and 2.5 hours.
How soon after the AGM will dividends be paid?
Dividends will be paid within 2 working days after the AGM.
Preregistration
How to preregister?
Preregistration can be completed by:
- Visiting https://rhand.org.tt/agm-2023/
- Calling 62-RHAND (627-4263) ext. 1271 -3 during regular business hours, where you will need to provide responses to the personal information questions asked by the RHAND team member.
- Emailing agm@rhand.org.tt your account number, full name, cell contact, date of birth and ID number (passport, driver’s permit, or national ID)
- In-person at any of our RHAND offices.
Who needs to preregister?
Every member who wishes to attend the Annual General Meeting.
What happens after preregistration has been completed?
Once the information provided is verified, you will be preregistered for the meeting. On the week of the meeting, all preregistered members will receive an email containing a Unique Meeting ID needed to participate in the meeting and instruction on how to attend. Please note that your Unique Meeting ID should be kept confidential and must not be shared.
How do I know if my form has been submitted successfully?
Once you complete the online form and click the ‘register’ button at the bottom of the form, you should receive an email at the address provided on the preregistration form. (You may have to check your ‘Junk’ or ‘Spam’ folders or Promotions Tab for Gmail users.)
Technical
What if I am having trouble accessing the meeting virtually?
You must have access to a stable WIFI (or wired internet) connection to connect to the meeting. If you are having technical challenges, RHAND will have a help desk set up on the day of the meeting. This assistance can be accessed via phone numbers that will be provided or via that chat feature on our website.
